What should I pay attention to when selecting photos for my profile?

Whether it's a snapshot from your vacation, a shot in your evening gown, or a photo of you pursuing your hobby, you decide where and how to present yourself best. However, you should submit current photos where you can be easily recognized. Photos where a baseball cap casts a shadow over your face or sunglasses hide half of your face are not the best choice.

A good profile picture is important in representing yourself and gives other members the first visual impression of you. The decision to have a further conversation is made based on this first impression. So, show yourself in the best possible light and increase your chances of communication. Please choose a portrait photo where your face can be clearly seen for your first photo.

Take a photo where your face is clearly visible - smiling attracts attention and leaves a positive impression.

Don't hesitate to show off your "sweet smile.

Please note that we cannot approve photos with the following content when making your selection:

• Photos that don't show you
• Blurry, pixelated, filter-altered photos
• Photographs in which other persons are clearly visible
• Photos where a child is displayed
• Infringement of copyright or intellectual property rights (cartoon characters, celebrity photos, etc.)
• Photos containing insult, humiliation, assault, violence
• Photos with commercial backgrounds
• Photos with a lot of bare skin or nudity (except for pool, seaside, beach, etc.)
• Photographs containing private contact details, personal information such as telephone number or e-mail address
• Photos with sunglasses, hats, helmets
• Outdated old photos

After registering to eÇift, you can upload 12 photos to your profile.

1. Click on the Menu button > My Profile > Add Photo button to upload photos.
2. You can either take a new profile picture using your phone's camera or select an existing photo from your gallery.
3. You can edit the photo you choose or take a new one in the 'Edit your photo' section. Once you've completed this process, confirm it by tapping the 'Save' button in the lower right corner.
4. You need to select personal photos for your profile in .jpg or .png format that are not larger than 11 MB. eÇift Customer Service approves all the photos you upload within a maximum of 36 hours. You will be informed by email as soon as your photos are approved. Your first uploaded photo will be your profile photo. You can change your profile photo anytime or make one of the other uploaded photos your profile photo.
