What should I pay attention to when selecting photos for my profile?
Whether it’s a snapshot from your holiday, a photo taken at a stylish event, or an image that reflects your hobbies, it’s up to you to decide which photos you’ll use to express yourself. However, it’s important to use up-to-date and clear photos on your profile that will help people recognise you easily.
Instead of photos where your face is in shadow or partially obscured by sunglasses or similar accessories, please choose photos where your face is clearly visible.
Profile Photo
Your profile photo creates the first visual impression other members will have of you. For this reason, we recommend that you upload a recent portrait photo as your first photo, in which your face is clearly visible.

- Please choose well-lit and clear photographs.
- Choose the photos that best represent you.

When making your selection, please bear in mind that we cannot approve photos containing the following content:
• Photographs featuring children
• Blurry, poor-quality photographs or those in which the person cannot be clearly identified
• Photographs containing sexual content, excessive nudity or inappropriate content
• Images that infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of third parties (cartoon characters, photographs of celebrities, etc.)
• Photographs containing insults, derogatory remarks, threats or violence
• Photographs intended for commercial purposes or of an advertising nature
• Photographs containing personal information such as first name, surname, telephone number, email address, social media account or similar details
• Photographs created using artificial intelligence, edited using artificial intelligence tools, or to which filters, effects or digital retouching have been applied in such a way as to make a person appear different from their actual appearance
• Group photographs in which other people are clearly visible
• Photos that are out of date or do not accurately reflect who you are
Once you’ve registered with eÇift, you can upload 12 photos to your profile.
To upload a photo, click on the ‘Add Photo’ option on the right-hand side of the homepage.
You can use your device’s camera to take a new photo or select an existing photo from your gallery. You can edit the photo you have selected in the ‘Edit Your Photo’ section, and once you have finished, you can confirm by clicking the ‘Save’ button in the bottom right-hand corner.
The photos you upload must be your own, in .jpg or .png format, and must not exceed 11 MB.
All uploaded photos are reviewed by eÇift Customer Services and approved within 36 hours at the latest. You will be notified by email once your photos have been approved.
The first photo you upload will be set as your profile photo. You can change your profile photo at any time or select one of your other uploaded photos as your profile photo.
A free photo scanning service is available exclusively for Premium members who do not have a digital copy of their photo.
